Rams are shorn and fleece weighed as one year olds in May after a level up shearing in October. With full measurement collected we then select 40-50 rams to be sold on the last Friday of September via AuctionsPlus at our on property open day.

Our experience is that a visually good looking ram will breed some good looking ok performing sheep.
A high ASBV poor visual will breed high performing sheep on data, but leave visual trait problems that we may be able to live with as a commercial breeder depending on the severity.
A poor visual, poor ASBV will… It’s a cull! Under these circumstances they will not perform.
A high ASBV and high visual sheep will guarantee the best results and will be considered for stud purposes.
All sheep are paddock run 100% of the time. Rams on offer will come from the top 30% of the drop remaining after 12-18 months of measurement and grading.
